Archibald was pulled to the creation of this land like a moth to a flame. Everything that Archbald was was a silent testament to the power of the Earth God. He held powerful earth magic, a companion created from dirt and breath, and shoes and armor crafted from the solid metals found low beneath the ground. Carefully, but skillfully, massive hooves drew the Dauntless to the shores of the land. Loretta and he, in tandem, began to swim across the tides without hesitation. Archibald's massive height gave him the grace to walk and push through the water for quite some time before he actually had to swim. Despite that, it was still and arduous task, and when the pair pulled themselves onto the shore of the main island, they were both breathing heavily. Loretta's salmon colored tongue lolled from the side of her trap-like jaws, and she shook out her coat. Archibald followed, painting the ground beneath him dark with the water that dribbled and splashed from his obsidian body.

Ktulu. Loretta conveyed. No Eytan. Her frown pressed against her pale muzzle and she turned to look on the shore behind them. She did not see the figure of the bear, so he must have been somewhere else waiting for his hybrid woman. Archibald pressed forward, and a moment later his bonded leapt and pranced behind him to catch up. As he walked, Archibald past RESPLENDENCE and pressed his massive shoulder in to her's, a gesture of comfort. He made his place beside Ktulu, eying the demi-god as she spoke to her father. "Aye, sir Earth, your daughter speaks truth. At the battle of the Moon, a wolf monster. Of the Sun, a rampant crocodile. I was not at the battle of your brother Spark, but I was told it was something just as dangerous." At the recollection of the battles past, the Dauntless' chest warmed with pride at his participation against the crocodile. He had paid a large part in bringing the beast down, and that would not be something easily forgotten. After he spoke, Archibald dipped his head respectfully to his patron deity, and closed his eyes for a moment. "Earth God, I ask for grace upon these islands."

Did the Dauntless know what he was asking? Was what he was asking even be accomplished? Only time could tell at this point.
