The last battle had been one of courage and determination, those who fought bravely to protect their home had prevailed valiantly slaying the croc god. It had been this battle that he had realized just what the Gods were capable of doing. To have one that is respected and trusted with their lives turn into something of that nature, where did they all stand in this? Couldn't it just as easily happen to them all here, the Moon Goddess had resorted to murdering already so what came next? Would they all survive it or would they just wipe them all off the face of this earth and start over somewhere else? Nothing was for certain so for now he tried to focus on the facts rather than the stories of the mind.

Feeling the Earth Gods presence nearby the stallion knew that he could not miss this event, god only knows what evil would show up this time. Approaching the river the grey stallion stopped at its banks to access how successful a crossing would be.The current seemed strong in this section making him worry that Kiara would not be able to make the swim safely.Just happening to look a little ways downstream his eyes locked onto a familiar face yet again. Evaneska, what in the world were you thinking? he muttered to himself as he leapt into the water to go after her. Kiara get across and see what you can see downstream. The water makes it difficult to see her. In a flash his tigress was off to do as she was asked without argument. He was thankful for Kiara sticking around with him this last year and he would very much love it if she stayed forever. Swimming with the current was much easier than against it allowing him reach the mare before the current managed to sweep her out to sea. Grabbing a hold of her mane the best he could (making sure to avoid the odd pair of wings that lay there) he made his way to shore dragging the pair of them up onto the beach. To his relief she still managed to breathe on her own and likely passed out due to exertion from what he could tell. Shaking himself off and ensuring the mare was alright he hesitantly moved over towards the god. Kiara had offered to keep a watch over her knowing well that his stubborn ass would want to stay.

Archibald had arrived and from the looks of it a decent number of falls herdlings. Bowing his head briefly he moved only a short ways off so he would not be in the way yet still close enough should anything decide to rear its ugly head. Plus he wanted to be close should anything happen to the mare he seemed to be saving quite often as of late, not that he minded.

Summary:
Arrives to see Evaneska getting swept downstream helplessly so he goes after her. Pulls her out onto the beach where he finds her alright, approaches earth god and bows his head before moving over to side. Kiara is still with Evaneska.
