Headaches, black ooze seeping from lungs, boils, when would it end? Granted, I was lucky enough to not have contracted the boils, however I felt as though the headache paired with the labyrinth lung I had gotten were more than enough for me. My head panged with each slightly shaky step as I approached the waters edge to yet another gathering with a godly like figure. My gaze was cloudy and hazy and I couldn’t pick out anyone in particular. Everyone looked like others from both my past and present in Helovia and I couldn’t be sure who was who, so I figured I’d do my best to keep quiet and not make a scene. Yet, I looked like quite the scene myself. Mostly cream and gold, spotted and speckled across my coat was now tarnished with black slime that slipped from my nose more and more, slipping from my eyes as well as my lips. Blood dripping down and staining my once porcelain pelt to a scarlet hue.

I heaved a sigh, fighting back a cough from my chest and took a step forward in the attempt to begin to swim across, however I noticed as I stepped my hoof down, the bridge that for some reason I hadn’t noticed before. I sighed of relief and stepped up onto it with a bit more energy than originally withheld in my body. I made my way across and hung to the outskirts, nodding to the new god I hadn’t seen before, noticing his beard and great wings. Horns similar to a rams as well. I was interested, but I knew there would probably be a fight here and I needed to contain all my energy if I were to fight for it. This was my home now, Helovia. And I needed to do everything I could to save it from the dangers that seemed to lie around the corners in each of these new lands, regardless if we could see them or not.

I kept my breathing short as to not inhale too much and end up coughing and hacking in the edge of the circle. Though I did my best to stay away from anyone in the hopes of not infecting them, however still glancing around at all these figures that were familiar to me but knowing deep down they weren’t at all who I thought they were. Patchworkings of creatures from my past to replace those I haven’t met before. I hoped in the back of my mind that someone would perhaps be able to get rid of all of these illnesses permanently. Being so down and vulnerable kept my self-conscience quite low which was something I wasn’t used to feeling at all.
