[[NEVER CHANGE.]]

Would it have been better, or worse for the duo, if they could share each others thoughts as easily as their draconian bond-mates could? What would Volterra think, if he could investigate first hand Isopia's cracked and warped mind. If he could walk through her fractured and darkened thoughts, peering into her rigid morals and black secrets?

If she saw Volterra with Mirabella - with Zenobia - she would not have been horrified. She would have been red with this lust that so fueled his meetings with them. Isopia's mind might have been lofty and philosophical, but her body was anything but. She had witnessed its transgressions first hand during spars, when it fought against her to save itself and avoid pain. Even against her mind's considerations and desires, it acted otherwise. In precisely the same vein, it - her body - wanted to be ravaged by him as the other mares did - as he wanted to do to them. She wanted to be wrestled - despite her massive height and so perhaps only by Volterra - and subdued. Her mind might have no equal, but somewhere inside her body thought that it did. And it wanted to meet such an equal, to fight and frolic through the pleasures and pains that it knew it was capable of.

But Isopia could never admit those thoughts and desires, for she didn't even know that they existed. She only knew the ache that accompanied Volterra's presence, but was wholly unaware of what such an ache could lead to. Should lead to. She knew nothing of what the heat between her legs was for. Reproduction was not a concept that escaped her mind, but the sexual fuel for that fire - and the pleasure-filled rapture of the act - where foreign.

And might always be. It wasn't as if either of the earthen giants were particularly good at expressing their inner most thoughts.

"Perhaps you more than him." Isopia offered with a nonchalant shrug. After all, Verzes had always been ravenous and pleasingly-violent. Volterra however, had sprouted into manhood, with all that that transformation entailed. She had seen his body grow and fill out through the youth that they body sped through - had watched his muscles and magic bulge repeatedly. He had fought Gods and won, among all of the other deeds that he did when she wasn't around. Some she was curious about. And others? "Is it really so volatile?" Curiosity infused her tones, as her gaze rested easily, delving into his ruby stare. "I grew so quickly ... my changes were rapid, but..." Would she characterize what she felt as volatile? Perhaps she hadn't even reached that stage yet. Her shoulders shrugged uncertainly. Perhaps there was more to her body - and her range of emotions - than she was even aware of yet.

"I wonder what it will be like for -" Isopia hesitated before saying us. There had never been an us before - not even between Isopia and her mother. But now? Even as Hubris continued his low and impoverished glide, the girl could feel him in a way that was almost tangible. "- us. Already he feels more about the world and its offerings, than I ever have."
