Arya can hear the song, her ears prick forward. It's a lullaby.. A beautiful lullaby and she can't help but be drawn towards the sound. She saunters towards the noise and quickly sees others gathered around. There are compliments and flattery coming from every direction. It's almost disgusting how these people shower the creature with praise. She knows they only crave that egg and what lies inside. They bring gifts and fancy words in an attempt to woo the mother. The huntress will not stoop to that level.. She'll not give up such fleeting and petty words. She is far too proud to grovel at the feet of the creature, and not even her desire for companionship will let her offer false flatteries. The huntress draws closer, her attention shifting from the egg to the creature holding it. She is unlike anything she has ever seen.. Massive in size and wrinkled and grey.. Briefly Arya looks over the other faces and then stops on her sister, Mirabella. They never had truly been acquainted or close.. The other filly only a name mentioned in fleeting conversation. During her childhood she had yearned for the companionship of her sister.. Yet their paths never crossed. The immortal can't grieve for what never was.. Her life is too long to dwell upon such things. All she can do is focus upon her future and what is and what will be.

The huntress scans the scene and offers a hint of a smile to the elephant. She cannot deny that the sentiment betwen mother and child is beautiful. For a moment she thinks of her own mother and her loving affections.. Arya realizes it has been nearly months since she last saw the northern queen but.. She still hasn't filled that void swelling inside of herself.. She hasn't quieted the raging lack of identity and the overwhelming need for something, a something she cannot grasp. Perhaps another mind, another soul can help her dig into her subconscious, can help her discover what she seeks.. If nothing else, the immortal maiden may have someone to stand beside her through the ages. For she knows that her life will be lonely.
