 Vadim hello teacher tell me whats my lesson look right through me look right through me He feels like the healers from the other herds were useless in healing his daughter's legs. Nothing they did worked and it makes him think that if the healers from other herds couldn't heal her that the healers in their own herd would be unable to, as well. He feels comfortable leaving Erthë in the care of the Edge, under the watchful eye of Tembovu, as he ventures off to try and find someone that can be useful, but his search turns up absolutely nothing and he returns to the Edge more frustrated and hopeless than when he left. He finds himself wishing more and more that Shadow was still with him because he is confident that together the both of them would be able to figure out a way to help Erthë. When he arrives a meeting is on progress and he realizes as he sees Tembovu conducting the meeting that he is terrible lost on current events due to his absence. He can only assume that the gigantic stallion is the new herd leader, but that is the least of his concerns. He and Vlasi make their way through the herd as he seeks out his daughter, but she is standing with Tembovu, hugging him. There is a surge of jealousy that strikes right to the core of Vadim's heart and he frowns as he watches them together, but there is nothing he can do at that moment. His head tilts and he watches his child as she stands with Tembovu and he hopes that she takes notice of him and can see him mouth I missed you to her. He hopes that she will come to him, that she will hug him so he can hold her and tell how much he missed her and how much he loved her. And so he can tell her why he was gone and that he hadn't abandoned her, but that he was trying to find a way to help her. He just hopes that she is not so angry at him that she ignores him, but if that is the case he figures he'll just have to find a way to make it up to the only girl (sorry Vlasi) in his life that holds his heart.
