C A L Y P S O I listen quietly, as announcements are made. To a degree, I feel like an outsider. I don't know anyone... Well that is anyone apart from our newly crowned King. He looks, so perfect up there. Though the title of King will be strange for me, as being from royal blood I am not used to calling anyone King. My father, as I had known him had held that title. My mother was the Queen of course. I shift forward, trying not to hide completely in the background. I would like to be noticed, to make friends within my own homeland. Dae stays close at my side, giving me the courage to keep going. I slip in and out of the others until I am standing almost in the middle. Perhaps here, will allow me to be seen and to get to know others. I frown at the first announcement, the death of one of our own and apperently the former King's daughter. I hurt for him, and I follow Tembovu's gaze to see a spotted stallion toward the back. I remember him from the only battle I was around. I believe that may of been the battle his daughter died in... I would make a point, after the meeting to get to know him. The list of introductions and positions went on, but at this point I am unsure if I wish to join any one rank. I long to know more about everything around me and everyone. Just like my home, each place has a history. Finally everything seemed to settle down, and others began talking among each other. I watched as one mare gave a feather to a young filly. I smiled. Dae nudges my side gently. Since no one seemed to turn to speak to me, I figured i'd slip back to the outer edges of the group again and wait to see if anything else was said.
