ORANGEMOON :: Year Eight

ORANGEMOON cools off the lands with a a viscious force. Colder than normal, a sign of things to come during Frostfall, Helovia is bathed in a rich tropical lushness - albiet a cold one. The coastlines of the Dragon's Throat are pelted constantly by tidal waves, and the desert climate is humid but chilly. Ice begins to form early in the Aurora Basin leaving the winding trails slick and dangerous. The mists of the World's Edge coat everything in a glistening crystalline shine which encourages mould to grow everywhere. The Spectral Marsh is the only area which remains fertile, blissfully temperature and lush.

June, 2017

WEAVER, Corporal of the Aurora Basin, is a relatively recent addition to Helovia and has taken it by storm. Branded with the seal of Death on her chest, intrigue and interest follow both her past and present. Though she is assuredly beautiful, her sometimes sharp personality reveals that there is more to this uni-peg hybrid than meets the eye. Proving herself able on the battlefield in the Basin’s warrior ranks, we can’t wait to see her test her mettle against the looming Kaos happenings! Congratulations!

ELDALA was on her way home after her time with Ivezho. She had enjoyed the young stud's company quite a bit. He'd been flirtatious without being fake about it and it had been nice to really converse with someone again(and speak about her home some). The youth wasn't sure what it meant, or rather what he meant, just yet though...She'd never particularly wanted a mate thus far but he'd made her consider what life might be like with one. Perhaps she could make an exception for him.

The sun had gone down by the time the pale mare set foot in the huge meadow she'd passed earlier that day and she was quite thirsty. She was desperately trying to remember where the river was that she'd seen when a lovely tinkling sound reached her ears. The fem stopped for a moment, head tilted, and closed her eyes. /Oh, how wonderful that sound is! It has been too long since I've heard music/ When she opened her eyes again a freezing breeze hit her face and brought with it the strange scents of many different horses. Both curious and confused, the hazelnut mare plodded quietly towards the source, ears perked.

Hardly any time had passed before she began to see strange baubles on the growth around her. There were shiny ones and big ones and little tiny ones too! Excited she bounced about, bopping a few with her nose as she went. /A boop for you and a boop for you, and one for you too. Ahaha/ The small mare was all caught up in her fun that she nearly missed a spot where the scents became stronger. She stumbles and pauses, nose raised, before walking once more. A moment longer and she finds herself in a rather huge group of horses. Their scents seem to signal them as being from all sorts of different lands, though she recognizes a few as belonging to the Aurora Basin /What in the world is all of this? It feels incredibly special somehow./

Eldala, thinking that she might not quite belong here, stays a bit on the outskirts of the group but manages to see what the fuss is about. There's a rather beautiful turtle that reminds her of the ones in the ocean near her old home... Just... More special feeling. Everyone seems to be waiting on the creature for something and so she bows her head low at it, hoping her show of respect might be seen, and waits with all the others to see what will happen.
