but dreams of love
In any case, Tiamat is hardly bothered by his lack of conversation. After all, it’s not like they haven’t been enjoying themselves! (Tiamat, anyway) and she doesn’t doubt that it will continue this way. Sighing blissfully from her nostrils, dainty ears tilt forward to catch the stallion’s low voice when he speaks, uttering a solitary word. “Kodiak,” the ocean mare smiles, “that’s a nice name.” The compliment is genuine, utterly pleased with having found a new friend.
Tossing her head heartily and spinning around on delicate heels, the blue mare casts a glance over her shoulder, white teeth flashing beneath the brilliance of her grin. “Let’s get going then, shall we? It isn’t a particularly short walk we have in front of us,” her laughter peals like rain through the air, mingling with the tinkling of her shells as they chime against one another. The length of her lion tail arcs happily, hovering above the ground while white eyes linger on her company. With Kodiak at her shoulder, Tiamat moves forward, her feet nearly skipping as cloven hooves dance in her excitement to be home.
