Yet her ears swiveled with slight discomfort as Kiuaji spoke of ‘Kingly duties’. A spark ignited within her of jealousy – curious to know just what Kingly duties he might need to be alone for. She couldn’t automatically assume him to sleep with everyone like she had, but her trust in him had failed when he spoke of sleeping with his own herdmate. A bit of hypocrisy danced within her jealous flames with enough of a feeling to begin to extinguish her thoughts as they raced to him loving another.
Instead, she turned her attention on Kiuaji and his connection to the Elephant’s last lover. Tilting her head to him slightly, the golden chains she bore slid carefully across her cream brow, exotic gaze seeming unfazed by the words the stallion spoke of. “I want to know about Mara. And Faxr.” Her voice broke, pushing all chit chatter aside. Wanting to know what it was that reminded the both of them of this so called Mara. The Thief flicked her tail then, shifting her weight as her gaze landed upon the companion of the stallion. Watching the bird briefly before her eyes landed on his violet ones again.
“Why did you think of her when you saw me?” She finally questioned, out in the open. A strong yearning from within her to learn everything about Tembovu’s old past – but stopping short of asking such a broad question.
"Talk?"
