"Where brilliance is good and madness is better..."
Helovia Info
Helovia opened in February 2012! We are an active fantasy equine RPG
Where once the world narrowed into naught but gray dust and desolation, the gods called for life. Wielding the elements of fire and light, dark and wind, earth and water, spark and time, they have created Helovia. The realm is set within the mythical globe of Loorien, a planet rich with all variety of creatures and blessed with all manner of magic. Originally populated by nomadic, tribal characters, they've since grown into massive empires saturated with culture and history. Separated into four distinct segments of Helovia, called "The Regions," each band of horse strong enough and capable enough, took up the power and responsibility of leadership. Unicorns, old, wise and mysterious, took to the north, hidden in forests of mists and shadows and rarely making themselves known beyond their cliffs of the World's Edge. Equines, vast, organized and militaristic, split into two, one group went north to the Windtossed Foothills and the other group went south to the Dragon's Throat. Pegasus remained nomadic, making their homes in various parts of The Wilds in a migratory manner. For many generations, the land was peaceful and calm, but peace was never the way of the gods. With a clash of argument, war and bloodshed massacred Helovia, and in the aftermath, the realm was eerily quiet. Now, as newcomers sweep into this land, they are met with the lingering bitterness of the gods and the struggle to reclaim what was lost. Nothing remains safe or certain while sorcerers and soldiers alike brood and bide their time for revenge, honor and glory.

Doppleganger Plot ☼ - 6/20/13 - The God of Time is still struggling to close the rift though which the dopplegangers have come. He has requested that his brothers and sister assist in closing this hole, but without knowing why it opened, the task is proving difficult. Magic still remains faulty and hard to control, but the herdlands continue to be places of refuge for those who are fortunate enough to call these lands home.
ORANGEMOON cools off the lands with a a viscious force. Colder than normal, a sign of things to come during Frostfall, Helovia is bathed in a rich tropical lushness - albiet a cold one. The coastlines of the Dragon's Throat are pelted constantly by tidal waves, and the desert climate is humid but chilly. Ice begins to form early in the Aurora Basin leaving the winding trails slick and dangerous. The mists of the World's Edge coat everything in a glistening crystalline shine which encourages mould to grow everywhere. The Spectral Marsh is the only area which remains fertile, blissfully temperature and lush.

Character of the Month for
June, 2017
WEAVER, Corporal of the Aurora Basin, is a relatively recent addition to Helovia and has taken it by storm. Branded with the seal of Death on her chest, intrigue and interest follow both her past and present. Though she is assuredly beautiful, her sometimes sharp personality reveals that there is more to this uni-peg hybrid than meets the eye. Proving herself able on the battlefield in the Basin’s warrior ranks, we can’t wait to see her test her mettle against the looming Kaos happenings! Congratulations!

He didn't often find his way to the mirror without Ashamin's summons. After all, he was the Haruspex, not Öde. This was never something Öde failed to remember or notice, though his anger over it had receded as the seasons turned. It granted him less responsibilities, time which he used to cultivate his own god and his own disciples, something which he was now grateful for. Besides, Ashamin had more than proved his worth for the title, and Öde could at the very least respect him for those capabilities, though he'd never satiate the hunger for the spot, if only for the honor and the power it wielded, so he could never truly accept Ashamin. Still, he did not envy him any more the way he used to, especially not after witnessing a few of these mirror meetings. Time was... a difficult god to commune with, for anyone. Better to let Ashamin handle that weight so Öde could learn of his mistakes, something which the God of the Spark was more than happy to point out.
Öde did sometimes come here though, alone, as he did now.
His cloven hooves echoed with mild noise as he moved into the cavern where the mirror resided. The sloping maw of the mountain that he stode into was dark, damp, and cold - no different from the rest of the Basin's abodes. This one though, this one always sent a shudder down his spine when he walked into though, as if he could feel the power of their god emanating from within.
Öde paused, a shiver roving across his body with a visible quiver of dark flesh. His groin jumped, invigorated by the promise of a god's dominion. The sensation lent a rough grin to settle onto his muzzle, and with a new speed he stepped further in, caution thrown to the wayside as he embraced the familiarity instead.
His body swayed like a boat at dock as he halted suddenly in front of the mirror. He peered at its glossy surface, at his eerie lack of reflection (which was rather disappointing because he wished to revel in his appearance at this moment). His breath hitched, excitement demanding he tread carefully, exhales included. Another trembling sensation coursed through him and as if shocked he withdrew into himself, the crest of his neck sloping like a dark wave. He was still for a moment, his heart beat the only betrayer, until at last he released the hesitation in a breathy rush. Starving, his lungs pulled in the air rapidly, his head swimming - giddy. Furtively he glanced around, but finding no other soul, he set his attention back on the mirror.
"Hello, lovely," he whispered with velvet tones, his plush muzzle reaching out to touch the edges of the immortal structure. As his whiskers brushed it his heart and his dick jumped, and he laughed silently with exhilaration. Something so powerful, right here in front of me, he thought, suspended both in awe and greed. Gently he traced more of its edges with his whiskers, growing bolder with each passing moment. Flushed with a warmth, caught up in this secret moment, he extended himself. It wasn't even something he was aware of; just a primal reaction to this lust for influence.
He pressed in closer, letting the soft edge of his muzzle press against the mirror. He stiffened, but didn't stop, pressing against it until miniature wrinkles appeared on his lips. His eyes fell to half-lidded ecstasy, the decreased sense of his vision granting him greater awareness of his touch. The mirror was smooth, and it chilled him, a sharp contrast against the heat he exuded. His breaths puffed, his blood coursed.
Slap. His belly trembled where it was struck, his groin pulsated. He leaned his head against the mirror's surface, and his other one smacked his stomach once more. His body convulsed at the feeling, and the tempo increased as his lips pulled taut in a pleased snarl. Slap. Slap! SLAP! SLAP! SLAP! SLAP! SLAP!
A muffled sound escaped him with a visible breath of steam while his locked legs quavered. "More," he begged, and his haunches bunched and gathered beneath him. Deftly he lifted onto his hind feet, his knees pressed near and against the mirror. He reached for it, into it. The sensation, so cold and wrong, engorged him with a warm pleasure. His lion's tail thrashed with energy while he continued to move into it with a rhythm that gradually increased into a furious grind.

High night, and the moon was bright. The haruspex, occupied by his mind, had ventured into the herdland with his companions to breathe fresher air. Out there, though, was nothing but cold. The winds were blistering, the air an unforgivable and barbed halo around everything that moved through it. It wasn't long before the trio turned back, newly coated in snow and with frost hanging off of their eyelids. There was nothing for the brothers out there but cold.
Besides, it occurred to the painted buck that this night, so inhospitable and unaccommodating to any other form of productivity, might be a perfect time to summon the God of the Spark. It was true that Ashamin had seen the being not long ago, but he felt that their communication had been stifled and overridden. After questing with the Goddess of the Moon, the haruspex somehow had even more questions to ask the God. He knew better than to interrogate the ancient being, but perhaps even a conversation in which he was the silent party could yield some valuable knowledge.
With the turn of this season, Ashamin was now a year older. A year wiser and stronger, too; much had happened to him since he had arrived in Helovia, and he was a great deal more confident of a stag than he had been at first. So when he finally re-entered his cave and found that it was not entirely empty, he did not shiver and shy as he might have not long ago.
His tail, long and serpentine, ran forward along Lochan's spine as he sent the cerndyr forth. See, he commanded with eyes narrowed. Of the three, Lochan had the best night vision. Rakt trailed after his dark brother as he walked, and their bonded tie waited behind for a moment. A charred remnant of an old fire upon the earth became just another thing to light the way as the haruspex wrapped his coil-adorned tail around it, his face hardening when the wood began to glow from the sparks.
Down the hall they went, passing the haruspex's possessions along the walls and moving closer to the mirror of the God. Ashamin's ears pinned as a voice and rhythmic slapping became audible. Given that Ashamin had recently experienced something not too unlike this himself, the sounds were familiar but strange, given the context. Not to mention Ashamin had had a partner in his crime.
Disturbed that someone would not only trespass (and on a night as ripe for summoning as this) in his home and the God's territory to have a pleasurable evening, the haruspex found himself growing more irritated with every step. His two companions had been ahead but stopped just short of the sight; though they were all boys, here, it wasn't something the cerndyrs felt privy to witnessing.
Not, of course, that Ashamin wanted to see it either. Still, when he did he could not find himself surprised.
"Ode!" came his shout, something neighed and snarled as he burst into the chamber at the end of the tunnel. The low flame tipped hunk of wood dropped, scattering its glow on the floor of the cave, and Ashamin kicked it at the heels of the dark one, hoping embers might catch Ode and scold well enough. His first instinct was to ask what the young stud thought he was doing, but a mere second of that hideous slapping sound made that particularly and painfully clear. The haruspex's teeth bared and his forehoof stomped impatiently. "Get the hell off that mirror and out of my home, boy! What part of your position do you think entitles you to ride the hindquarters of time?"
Ashamin strode forward with rage in his eyes, his tail lashing firmly. He was sick of this male and his incessant masturbation. His every step was reprimand, his every breath a quaking flame. His companions peered from around the bend, five eyes wide and admiring. "Out, Ode, out!" he warned again, his patience already wearing dangerously thin.

Öde
"Öde!" "Yessss," he moaned, the word pressed between his clenched teeth, a pant more than a phrase. His eyes were tightened shut with divine pleasure, and his body was fraught with sweat and coiled muscle as he continued his prayers.
There was another noise accompanying the heavy breathing of the stallion now, but it was like background chatter as he swam in the warm cocoon of his and the god's making.
A torch falling, embers hissing on the cold and wet floor.
A hoof connecting with it, sending it skittering along the stone belly of the cave with chaotic momentum.
Another hoof, stomping with an audible click against the rigid earth.
Then a voice, sharp and familiar and surprising, admonishing the way a hen might cluck at her wayward brood.
Öde's body jolted, and began to turn as he realized finally what was unraveling behind him. Just then the torch did strike him, a flash of hot pain winding up his left fetlock like a serpent. The fruition of his work, the adrenaline of being caught, and the cherry on top of fire's cruel slap was more than the young stallion could take. He released, fully and completely, with gusto. Bound to decorate the cave in glistening icicles Öde spread himself against the wall, along the floor, perhaps even on Ashamin and his stags, before he finally finished his turn and landed from his rear, the last shudder of ecstasy coating his underbelly with completion.
Ashamin advanced with his name and a purpose, but Öde wavered on noodle-strong legs as he basked in the glow of his deed. He smiled stupidly, his lips stretched far with giddiness accentuated by the fact he could share this with someone now. Not just someone, Ashamin.
Now it wasn't just sex masturbation, now it was power, because yes, I defiled your sacred place Haruspex, you can't undo that. "I was just communing with the gods," Öde drawled with a sultry undertone, nearing a giggle. "They said... you're inadequate." Öde's length had put itself away, but now he felt his large, if not slightly smaller than before, package clench up against his groin as cold settled in with the absence of his heat.
