Knowledge was a drug. It was not the first time the mare had yearned to know something about another. Her thoughts were shared not only by her dragon on this day, but evidently her sister. A smile was kept hidden, though Mirage knew her beloved siblings would feel, for they could never hide anything from each other. Merely strides behind her moonlit form, the charcoal mare stood before them, her cloak forgotten for now, her golden gaze roaming over the new creatures before her. The tiger, she could see, would not grow as large as a tiger should, just as Akaith would not grow as large as a dragon might. Swiftly the sharp mare surmised that they were bonded, not dissimilarly to the way she and Akaith were. And just as swiftly, her interest in the unicorn steed rose.
“Greetings.” Her melodic, warm voice ventured forth from her maw, the accent that tainted her speech evident even in that single word. The golden dragon that shared her heart and soul fluttered amongst the trees above, chirruping her own quiet greeting. “Let us be less strange, sister.” Affectionately she looked to Rishima, before tilting her tiara and nodding to the young steed before them. “I am Mirage.” As she spoke her name, a shimmering cloak enveloped her body, though it lasted no more than a second. Her magic was her favourite toy, you see. “Who might you be?” Gently her tones obtained a questioning edge, though it was only subtle, the mare wasn’t much for expressing herself openly.
