He showed up. All height, long legs and lumbering form, he showed up. He definitely did not want to. He considered not coming at all. There was something about being shoved in a group full of selfish minded assholes (pot calling the kettle black much?) in a loud, raucous of a space that set him on edge. Also, the last few herd meetings he attended usually ended in some sort of altercation, much like when he left the Aurora Basin. Absently, he wondered what Arah was doing. She was gorgeous in a way he did not believe he deserved, but he had half a mind to take it anyway. Regardless. Cloven hooves settled upon the ground in the back, and he absently leaned against a thick tree. Bronze eyes surveyed the crowd, spying a little... Roskuld... nearby. Was she in the Edge now too? Curious. Tembovu naturally commanded the herd in his booming voice, chastising those who deserved it and getting everyone as organized as chaos could possible be. Perhaps the most curious was the cold shoulder Elsa was giving; it was ironic and funny to the Engineer that a mare with a snowflake was literally giving a cold shoulder. He actually chuckled at that, the sound deep and rumbling within his fuzzy barrel. Even Kirchoff looked up, snorting a breath in his own humor before returning to chewing on a bone. Ulrik listened, wondering if he should participate to be a glass crafter. He wondered if he'd be any good at it at all. The brusque man mulled the though over and then decided he had best help - at least a little. The Edge was good to him, even though he was the former crafter of the Aurora Basin, and he was a slightly changed man - in some ways. "I'll help the crafters," he grunted, his deep, graveled tones somehow fitting of his dark figure and furry chest. |
