After a rather interesting reception upon his arrival the golden stallion was especially eager to see what other inhabitants shared this tundra. He wasn't really sure what he was thinking when he had spontaneously decided to join into the "wolf pack" but it was a decision that he could not go back on now. Plus he was sure that either the starry mare or Hotaru would have his hide should he decide to leave and never return. Outside of the band of nomads he had traveled with this was the first time that he had ever actually turned to other beings for company. Life had been harsh back home and without his mother or father he had resorted to living life barely managing to scrape by. Maturity had come with its own challenges as he struggled to find himself amongst the cobwebs and rudeness of others. Fighting had become a way of life for him and it had forged his path to where he now stood, he would not change his ways even for the sake of this so called Basin. Surely the place could use some warriors of high caliber such as himself.

As he walked deeper into the unknown ice box it wasn't long before he arrived upon a rather decent gathering he figured was something he should actually pay attention to. Picking his way through the crowd with his head held proudly he finally stopped when he caught sight of the Lady he had exchanged brief words with earlier that day. Glancing around curiously to the many other faces he wondered how many of them were actually intelligent enough to be worthy of his respect. Guess only time would tell but for now it was better to play by the so called rules and bend to their ways of life by keeping his mouth shut. Recalling that the star mare Ki'ihra had been some type of warrior he made a note to find her afterwards and have a little chat about his place in this herd. He sure wasn't planning to sit back and be some passive lump on a log, he was born to be in action and that was exactly what he planned to do.

Listening patiently as the others spoke he began to etch together the network of who was who and who did what for this place. It would take awhile but eventually he would know them all by name but for now this was what he needed to resort to.
