It is not rational to believe in miracles, for miracles are by nature irrational.

The little pegasus didn't quite maintain the same composure as the earthly god. By the time the swirl of dust died down and revealed a landscape of trees and mist and distant mountains, the young colt was both wide eyed and out of breath. He had promised not to be afraid and he struggled really hard not to be, but it was safe to say that he was somewhat startled by the whole experience of being transported across half the continent in a matter of seconds.

Feathers rose and sunk as he struggled to catch the breath, wings shifting and attempting to fold against tiny sides before eventually slumping down towards the ground once more. He shook the entirety of the body, dislodging a few black, opalescent downs in the process, before finally folding the legs beneath him. He created quite a tangle of feathers and legs and wings upon the ground, lids drooping over vivid ultramarine eyes. It had been a strenuous day, and he missed his momma. Somewhere he had still hoped that the large stallion would take him to see her, and this strange landscape was faintly disappointing.

A sigh escaped him once more and with ears folding back across the neck, he curled up and allowed himself to drift off, remaining half asleep until the one He called for wold arrive.
