They seem to not even know that you are there. Or if they do, they give no notice.
But it strikes you again - are there many of them? Or just a few? Is it one being, or multiple with their hands clasped? Faster and faster their frenetic bodies move, alight and awash with a light seemingly created by the gentle fervor of their joined hands. The light grew and bloomed, and once again it became unclear as to what the relationship was between the light and the thing (or things). Was it an extension of them? It seemed to be tangibly connected to them, but simple physics suggested that this was impossible. And yet - if you looked closer, the light actually appeared to be strings. Like a tapestry created out of an infinitely many, small chords of pure light, all bound together and glistening radiantly.
The egg in the centre began to roll and rise slowly as those light-coloured threads reached down and gently brought it upwards. Faster and faster it rolled and danced, held bound by the lightning tendrils that stretched outwards from the creature(s).
Woven by that same ethereal thread, a new tapestry began to form - only this one appeared more stone-like in appearance, rather than spun thread-like sunlight. The egg rested upon what was clearly now a pillar, and the sunlight-stone was clearly form-fitted around the egg. There seemed to be some sort of depression, right beneath the egg, almost like a lever, or like a weighted-panel.
The creatures continued to spin, now moving so fast that they really were a blur - their bodies one giant ring of golden light. Their voices continued to rise in an intricate melody of song, flowing upward and surrounding the egg.
