Cera Go ahead, you're never going to take me - you can bend but you're never going to break me
They could have been siblings, standing aside one another in the shadow of the church's looming figure. They certainly appeared alike, the only difference the shade and frequency of their colors and the wings that lay folded delicately over Cera's ribs. They were like-minded crafters, artisans of creation. How odd that they belonged in such different realms, with different names attached to them, and yet paralleled each other so strongly. The world was small indeed. The glass lay glimmering before them, large but shapeless. The finality of their forms would come with Anzanie's work and talent, and he had full faith in her despite her being a stranger to him. He was perhaps gullible in that way, but she seemed confident enough in her own abilities if she was the one chosen for the task. "Thank you, it's been an amazing project," Cera rumbled with pleasure at the compliment. Perhaps she would speak of it to those she passed by, the beautiful towering church by the sea that he had helped create. "We have steel cables to lift the glass, and a frame to set it in. We'll reuse the metal for the structure once the glass is set." Cera didn't believe in waste after all. With a broad smile and a rustle of his wings Cera grinned. "Yes we can!" Pale lips dipped towards the cables and rudimentary pulley they'd created, ready for Anzanie to shape the glass so he could move it into the small frame attached to the cables. With Anzanie pulling and Cera attaching the glass into place, it would be a challenging job but capable of being done by two bodies. "Ready when you are," he assured with a small smile. |
@Anzanie we can just finish it up this season! I wrote it as them having the raw glass but it's not shaped into the proper window pattern yet?
