Sun God & Moon Goddess

The God's ears flickered slightly as Meg indicated that the completion of her quest and the attaining of her magic was not the reason she had come. Or at least the sole reason, as those things had been completed by her mere presence. His gaze followed Meg's towards Mesec, and for a moment the God was unsure why his presence was required at all. If this matter was something the Goddess knew about - as she seemingly did, given the mischievous lilt in voice - then what was it the Sunspear expected him to do? He could not goad his sister into doing anything that she did not want to, and if the matter was about her son she would be the best candidate to help anyways. Still, the God listened patiently.

When Meg was finished - and Mesec had added his agreement - the God turned to look at his sibling, as if for insight. Yet her pale gaze was locked upon the Sunspear, and the God didn't like the tension that was steadily beginning to waft off of her.

"Help us?" The Goddess began, smiling her deadly smile at Meg. Her eyes flit to Mesec gently, allowing only some of the warmth to return to them. "Doesn't this seem like a family matter, dear?" She cooed, still making it indiscernible whether she was referring to Mesec's shape-shifting or the creation of his children.

The Sun God grit his teeth as his sister spoke, but it did appear she had a point. Why had the Sultana escorted Mesec here? Was she afraid he might transform again and go on a rampage? If this was an escort quest, then surely it was completed too. " They dwell in my herd, sister. That does make them family, of a kind." The God offered complacently. Immediately the Goddess smile turned to a scowl and she eyed her brother with annoyance. "You know what I mean." She hissed lowly, turning her eyes back to Mesec.

Her wings splayed loosely from her side as she regarded her son, a genuine and warm smile spreading across her delicate features. "What do you say darling? Shall we bid our delightful guests adieu, and discuss your little problem?"

In truth, the Goddess did want to discuss the matter in private. After all, it didn't do to just go about airing ones dirty laundry all over the place - even if it was just in front of a fellow God and her son's herd leader. As if that gave them any right to be invited into the personal conversations of a mother and son.

With a snort, the Sun God looked to Meg. "You have done well to help bring Mesec here, however in these waters ... we would do well to defer to her judgement on how best to help Mesec."
