The summer was upon them, this hairy mammoth of a beast was sweating even high up in the mountains where snow stil lingered, slightly. He never had enjoyed summer since leaving his home; where summer would be like winter to others. This beast was designed for snow and cold artic tundra. So as soon as the sun made a show he was not too happy, sweltering under all the extra fur he'd aclaimed through generations of adapting.
Somehow upon his slow movements around the mountains paths, his fluffy satalites had picked up the sound of rushing water, of a vast amount. A rather fast flowing river he assumed or a waterfall at best. Good thought the beast, a place he could bathe and cool off in the ice melted water from the summer heat.
Mykah followed behind him, not in any rush either. The pair tended to move at a slow pace, never caring to use more energy than needed
