He listens to her speak and for a time simply enjoys the sound of her voice. It is a nice one, so far as voices go. And though she might not have cared if he had carried himself as something far less than dignified, he would have cared. Indeed, even in his awkward way he carried some kind of dignity with him, curied deep in the rose tinted eyes.
Then she speaks of gods.
The only indications that his attention is suddenly focused is a twitch of his ears. The rest of his body seems to sink, hips swaying a little as one of his hind hooves cocks in an attitude of almost exaggerated ease. Yet with his long limbs, ever expression appears a bit exaggerated. His eyes hood, half-closed almost sleepily.
"I'd much like to see the home of the gods." The words are picked carefully- his voice has lost a touch of it's sing song quality and betrays the intensity with which his focus has been captured. The rest of what she said doesn't matter. She might be able to tell him where the gods touched the earth. "Could you, perhaps, point me in the right direction?"
His voice is still soft, but something in it sounds crisper than it did before. In his home, there was one god. His herd had it's immigrants though and they stil acknowledged that others existed. Their god was not a kind one. He was petty and jealous and distant. And everywhere he had been, the rumor was that gods came to earth in Helovia more than any other place. So to Helovia he had come.
And now he would find them.
