"You think so?" The idea of breathing frost or electricity was an exciting one, as he peered at the pieces of ice which lingered on the grass. He couldn't help but feel though, that fire was more his calling, he couldn't quite place why he felt like that in his bones. He just did, not in the sort of way a foal might be enthralled by fire because of it's danger, or how it crackled and roared with life and power. Just some deep seated allure which drew him in like a moth to the flame, or a hoof reached out to touch the fire unafraid of getting burned. "It would be nice to actually learn something, rather than already having it." He murmured, skull marked head tipped to the side. "He was given to you?" Surprise rolled over his youthful features, some horses got given their companions? "You're very lucky then! I heard some have to wait forever to have their own companion, and others find them when their nests have been destroyed. I hope I have a friend like him, one day." Of course, he was a little bit jealous but not put off, at the fact the earth toned giantess had been gifted her Companion. Others might've soured at the news, that they had worked and been met with disappointment after disappointment but Tyrath just saw it as life. Some horses were luckier than others, whether by fate or having friends in high places. Carers was an apt name all around, his father wasn't exactly about to shack up in the Throat and bestow upon him all the doting father spiel and chatter. His mother was a Gladiator, and well, she was often away doing patrols and seeing to whatever business she had going on. Business he didn't know, and often wanted to follow and find out about. Then there was the mares he was often left with, which didn't care much to keep the tribrid from roaming off other than a half-hearted 'don't go far', from their place in the shade. "Not really." He replied with a grin, shifting in place to show her that he still had energy to burn. "Well, it was tiring, but actually getting here made it go away." Any tiredness had been wiped out of his mind the second he'd realized he had made it, while he supposed a nap would of been greatly appreciated by his young body, his mind had had other ideas. Hubris' next attempt was eagerly watched, maybe this time he could find a way to do it. But again, it was met with another frozen piece of grass on the floor and a slight furrow pressed on his brow. "Maybe he could build something that could help him do it?" He suggested, he wasn't sure what exactly. There had to be something, right? The dragon deserved to be able to whistle after all the effort he was putting in. "Something that he can blow into, which will make the right shape for the grass whistle at the end?" At the mention of the island being dull, he glanced up and shook his head. "Not at all." Wings shuffled from his barrel, a few downy feathers slipping free. "The wolf fight was fun, but I like exploring and learning too, finding new things and figuring what they are and what they do. Do you find this island dull?" His question is polite and genuine, she could already fly and go to whatever places she liked. Maybe she had found more exciting places than this? Places filled with secrets and unusual animals to see. If only his wings would hurry up and grow, along with the rest of his body, he might find those kind of places too.
