"They aren't all like me. Or even nearly like me. Physically, magically, and ... rationally we are all quite different." She said with a small shrug. "I am the largest of us, but also the youngest. Mesec the Nightwind, son of the Moon is the oldest and probably kindest. Roskuld the Sparklight comes next. She takes after her father, the Spark, in both appearance and attitude. Then there's Aithniel from the Sun, the second youngest. Both she and I are so young compared to the other two, because we are the second of our line, both having had siblings who died, whose positions we were created to replace."

Sometimes it's better to pick your battles, than just recklessly jump. Whether what you're fighting for is yours, it's better to swallow your pride and live to fight another day. "Do you think so?" Isopia asked curiously, with something like genuine interest. She paused thoughtful, turning her golden eyes to the sky to inspect a passing cloud. She disagreed with the boy - what use was an extra day of life? If fate had pulled you to your close, shying away for an extra day, week, or year, would make no difference in the end. But, he had earned enough of her respect that she allowed him his opinion, merely slumping her large shoulders once again in response.

"Only my Father just full jurisdiction over those elements. I merely handle them - " Her voice trailed off, and two creations appeared before the demi-goddess and her nephew: a dragon composed of water, and a raven composed of earth. "I have other magic as well. It is related to the earth and water, but distantly you might think." She smiled, thinking of her magic as some secret act of rebellion, for she knew that hiding in her shadowy or bold forms likely were not to her Father's liking.

The girl bobbed her head as the boy indicated that he had a pension for learning. She wasn't surprised at all; it was one of the things that had drawn her to linger in this conversation. To hear more of what he would say and learn more of how he thought. "Things rarely only affect ourselves." She mused in response, a smile creeping unbidden onto her lips. "What is it that you can do?"
