Brisa & Hikari

Regarding the soul with curiosity she was again surprised by the accent masking his tone. Foreign, that much was for certain but as to where she hadn't the faintest idea where to even start guessing. Maybe someday she would be able to get out and experience the world for herself, to see where all these strangers come from but today was not the day. There was still so much that she had yet to experience for herself but right now her focus had to be on serving the herd to the best of her ability. Archibald would be counting on her to uphold her portion of leadership but how was she supposed to do that when nothing she had ever done consisted of leading anything? The gods seemed to have some sort of profound confidence in her now if only she could believe it herself.

Hastily snapping the thoughts away she returned to reality to realize it was her turn to say something. This was definitely something that she needed to work on for she was a terrible conversation maker. A faint picture of herself standing in front of the herd flashed into mind giving her goosebumps from the anxiety. Eventually she would have to do it but for now she was more than willing to let Archi do all the talking so she could find her legs. The brush of Hikari's tails against her foreleg once more drew her away from her own problems as she smiled down upon her. Watching Banj acknowledge the little kitsune allowed some of the wariness to fall away for he was seeming to be a half decent fellow instead of the ones she had become accustomed to before coming to Helovia.

In return Hikari raised her inquisitive golden eyes to the stranger, barked playfully in greeting wagging her five tails in appreciation. "That would be her version of hello." She commented with a soft laugh helping to translate the body language she had come to learn very well over these last months. Eventually they would be able to share words and conversations but until then she was more than happy to translate for her bonded. "What brings you all the way down here on such a lovely night?" She inquires trying to develop her conversation building skills while hoping not to appear as awkward as she felt inside.
