Where in the edge would Tilney find Tembovu on a day like today? He had a matter to discuss with the king on the topic of biosecurity; a new comer had obviously trudged in a foreign fungus that was munching some of the vital plants in the greenhouse. What a mess it had been, singling out the infected plants from the healthy ones; and potentially getting covered in some fungi himself was gross enough. Tilney would ask for permission to dispose of the hazardous plants by tossing them off the edge. The first place he looked was along the cliffs, then the lake which he took some time to bathe in. He followed each creek until finally he found a group near the border. From a distance he could see both the King and Queen, Allysane, and an unfamiliar pegasi. The group was standing facing a brackenous thicket that symbolised something like the engraving on his shoulder. "Good day everyone!" The moon doctor cheered. The stranger said something about destroying them for spikes; ah, the spikes! The spikes? Tilney hadn't heard about these of course; he had been marooned on a desert island when those plans were made. "Destroy these thorns?" the young chap uttered with a grin and a glance to his lantern. Stepping forwards he placed the lamp at the very base where the thorns were hugged by dry grass. "Stand back" "Aiya" was his whisper, watching with delight as his lantern lit with a wondrous flame, letting it catch onto the grass before he kicked it out of the way and scooped it back into its place in his lofty antlers.
