Caenan's ears shifted slightly at the sound of Tembovu's call. From a distance the pirate watched members gather; he took note of who walked in with who, who came on their own, and he felt camaraderie for the members that also came at a time nearly late. A shame it would be to be on time now. A soft chuckle he had with himself. Caenan was a rogue of a man with a rank in a herd. No sense in breaking tradition. His eyes narrowed and his chuckle fell short at the sight of a mare he had not yet met. His breath stilled in his chest as he watched her stumble towards the meeting. From where he had been watching everyone gather Caenan cantered towards the pegasus. "We 'aven't met before," Caenan slowed and trotted over to the mare, "an' surely any would remember you." Despite his flirting the stallion had came to her in concern, "Are you okay?" Eyes of emerald earnestly scanned her face. Further away he caught sight of Rohan coming to the meeting. He felt more loyalty to his Captain than what he felt to Tembovu; in Rohan, Caenan saw glimpse of a kindred spirit. "Rohan!" Caenan called out to the Captain, "You aren' lookin' too bad yourself!" He grinned mischievously and winked at the mare he stood beside. "I am Caenan," with a sly gleam in his eye he considered introducing himself as sergeant, would it impress her? |
