RON was late....like....really late. It distressed him to be so slow to muster for his new king. He knew that, when he'd been nearly king, the same sort of action from a new recruit would have aroused suspicion.. He'd been exploring the edges of the Edge when the call had been made and it had been a struggle to arrive even as late as he had. Ok, well, maybe he'd been hunting for a rabbit to stomp or something but it wasn't like he'd ever admit that. He'd been unable to fly until he made it out of those dreadfully dense thickets which had entangled him. Even then, it wasn't as if he could very well float into the herd meeting, could he? I mean, attention was never a good thing unless you were important...even then, something like an important sneak should be, well, sneaky. So he landed a ways away from the meeting, annoyed by both his required presence and his tardiness at actually showing up.

Granted, as his hulky form slithered up through the shadows he heard the elephant stud thanking someone for their role as Queen....so perhaps Ron would be spared from excess scrutiny thanks to the distraction. The blood knight picks his way quietly along, surprising himself, as he searches for both his master and muse: Raeden. It wasn't like him to do such things but, alas, he found her to be a worthy diversion. Crimson orbs finally alight upon the pale form they seek and he pushes along until he is able to pull up beside her. Ron's voice, smooth as silk, whispers in her ear" Hello, Master Rae, my apologies for the tardiness luv."
