Event If they notice the gathering horses of Helovia, the capricious lights don’t let on. The fluttering flicker of their wild to and fro across the water continues, their laughter and gesticulations still singing out in harmony. It’s not until one of the strangers approaches that they tear their attentions away from their game. Now, instead of the water, its Alysanne and the ground around her being dusted, the collective of gleaming baubles zooming around her with evident delight. It’s not often the big ones talk to them, and they are definitely excited to have the attention of the pretty pegasus. “Water pictures!” they chime in cheerful unison, giggling with breathless abandon as they whip back to the river. Another wild twirl over the water later, and they’re chattering at the black and white mare again swiftly, their incandescent bodies taking turns bobbing towards the water (the only way balls of light can point). “Look, look! Sometimes they are pretty or funny or wise!” Twirling together with unreal speed down a length of the water, a large portion of the slowly traveling water is covered in their glimmering glitter. It’s only now that they seem to really notice the others gathered around at all, occasionally darting towards them before returning to the water, to ensure there is plenty of dust for the horses to look at. “What do you see?” they ask through excited giggles, hovering in place over the water, trickling earthy glow, “we see lots of things!” 72 hours to respond! pure randomness |
