Life was great where he was at. It was warm, dark and happy. The small boy only knew his other sibling and his mother. Her movements were like cradling him in a soft wave of motion. He would be rocked to sleep with his twin who would never leave his side. Sometimes it got cramped in there especially when they started growing larger and larger. He would have to fight his twin for space and that usually turned into making mom not very happy. Today though was much different then any other day. Her warm voice rumbled in his ears and then his twin started pushing against him. The colt fought back for his space, but it was getting too tight in there for both of them. He felt muscles pushing against him, and at this point he just went along with it. Leaving his twin behind he entered the world of the unknown. He was not sure if he would ever see the twin again, but then the shock of the (Much cooler but still warm air) hit his wet pelt. Gold eyes remained shut and refusing to look at the world he just entered.

The boy started to move right away. He was searching for his twin, the only other thing he knew besides mom. His lungs filled with air for the first time and it was wonderful. The new smells overwhelmed him at first, then he caught mom's scent. She was not far from him, but then something filled the air that smelt like his twin. Finally he was not alone in this crazy place any more! They were going to grow together and learn together oh the joy that brought to the little colt's heart. He could finally feel the warmth of the sun start to dry his pelt, then he smelt someone else. It was a heavy musty smell. Mom was still close by, then the mumbles of the deep voice reached his ears. The boy did not comprehend this thing as dad, in fact he really never remembered hearing a deep voice in the womb. Gold eyes tried to peer through the after birth, but it was too thick. He would see blurry figures and then he heard a name Katua who was that? That had to be his twin... so that is what they were called. Right away the boy noticed that the husky figure was paying direct attention to the other twin. He could not feel the heavy touch of the other beast, why was he being ignored by it? Little did the boy know this was the start of his hate for his father. Maybe this specific action was the start to it all... The husky blur only tended to the colts other half. From the start the boy felt a disconnect to this beast he would soon know as father. That's fine he only longed for his mothers touch anyways.
