She would keep her ‘predictions’ light, she had decided; Aisling respected the workings of fate too much to test there no-doubt ironic sense of humor. In a way, she could have designated this as a bit of training for her growing role of Thief here in the Basin, an opportunity to practice observational skills. If she wasn’t too specific perhaps a few might end up being true! If a doe-eyes young lass (as Aisling herself had once been) approached, would it be much of a stretch to say that she would fall in love? If a warrior approached would it be so outlandish to warn of coming conflict? Yes, she had decided to keep her predictions light, but anyone who knows Aisling would tell you, she’d never been above getting carried away even with her own flights of fancy.

At an unexpected mewling sound, Aisling turned her eyes to find her first supplicant approaching and was struck by a mild pang of feminine jealousy. The mare was breathtaking: tall, graceful and even giving off a soft glow. Aisling had never seen a pegasus with two sets of wings before but they seemed to suit this mare who’s every feature seemed remarkable. Even in her guise of enchantress Aisling felt more than a little plain in comparison, but nodded to the young mare all the same, please to be able to see beauty even if she could not be it.

“Of course, come forward and tell me your name.” she answered in her dreamy tone and watched carefully as she approached. Her eyes narrowed as if searching for things hidden in the golden eyes and patched peacock markings. The kitten that perched on the beauty’s wing earned and indulgent smile for the pair before Aisling. “Ahh! There is something special, you’ve a new friend already I see…” she turned he head away toward the fire directly to her right and as the fae began to chant the flames seemed to jump and a vision of swirling smoke came forward to dance between Aisling and her questioner, the fae's head swing back following the wisps.

“Be ye open and be wary
for there soon will come a time
you shall meet a fated soul
whose fate with yours does intertwine.
For now, the spirits will not say
though they know I know they know
whether that this fated one
is a lover, friend, or foe.”

Guided by her magic, the smoke between them seemed to take shape, shifting as she sang. One thick wisp formed itself into a slim, four-winged figure as another took a feline shape and flitted around the other’s smokey heels. In front of the two figures another formed, but it shifted as Aisling sang, forming the shapes of pegasai, unicorns, and equines (of all shapes and sizes) each one melting into another almost as it had formed. When the little enchantress ended her rhyme, the illusions of the smokey figures drew together, twining around each other before dissipating into the hazy air of the clearing.
