He's no virgin to showmanship or dramatics, having been a prominent figure once and more than occasionally the recipient of such fanfare in his youth, but his time in Helovia has gone largely unmarked by special occasions, making the little cloud-colored mares display all the more charming for its intrigue and for the wistful flashes of memory her controlled pitch and carefully painted markings evoke.
He halts amid the ring of seven fires, his bearded head swimming for a moment with the heavy scents of bark and herbs billowing upward and outward from each shallow pit of flame. He wonders whether the concoction of cloying smoke is meant to simply disorient or to wholly intoxicate the fortune tellers audience, thereby cheapening - at least in his bristly old mind - whatever experience they might have with medical trickery, but inhaling a second and third time, deeper with each following breath, he decides he doesn't actually care. If the Lady herself is condoning such lavishness, and that must be her rosy colored ass just ahead in the miasma, then who is he to put a damper on anyones high?
'Dizzy...' His companion whines in the back of his mind. The young python isn't sure how to feel about this sudden change in states of consciousness. Instinct tells him this is bad, a weakening of his senses, but his bonded is diving into the effect like a fish stranded on the beach returning to sea. The stallions nostrils flare as he sucks in more and more of the smoke with every wobbling step he takes toward the tiny fortune teller.
"Riddle me something then, mystic." He slurs just a bit too close to the young Theifs face, his companion coiling tight around one horn in mixed embarrassment and apprehension.

OOC // Plot suggestions... He'll be having a colt soon. He may or may not be getting promoted sometime in the next couple seasons? I may eventually introduce an adoptable that knows who heis was and will potentially cause a ton of drama.
