Nefertari walk walk walk "talk talk talk" Nefertari snuggled into her father's side, shivering as she closed her eyes and yawned sleepily. "What if the leader comes here, daddy?" She whinnied, sleepy and half-awake. She wondered if Leander's leader was nice, if she would like her and her brother. Probably; her father wouldn't be in a herd with a cruel leader. He was a better stallion than that. Quite out of nowhere, an image of Leander as a colt suddenly appeared. Long, gangly legs, big wings... She giggled and pressed herself further into her father, smiling softly She heard her brother's soft, joking nicker of, 'She's delusional!'. His voice was full of affection, and Neffy felt safe and warm with her family around her. She giggled again, this time at Ame's words, and tried to say, 'Am not!' but it came out as a mumbled sound of protest. Darkness came slowly, creeping over the little filly. Her breathing flattened out, evened, and she was asleep, dreaming of her mother, Leander, her mysterious sire, and her brother.  |
