At the sound of her name, Mordecai lifted her head and turned to look at who had spoken to her. One ear tilted back and water dripped from her muzzle , but she remained silent as she regarded the unicorn stallion approaching her. Her black eyes narrowed, never leaving his frame as he sidled up beside her as if he belonged there. As if he had a right to be there when, in fact, he didn't. Did he not remember the threats the last time they'd met? Did he think her threats had been idle ones, born of bluff and arrogance? Mordecai sighed, rolling her eyes as he seemed to make himself comfortable beside her. "What?" She demanded harshly because, in her experience, no one ever just walked up to someone and stood beside them because they wanted to. No, there was always a catch. Someone always wanted something and if he thought she was the type of mare to help him he was even stupider than the expression he often wore. She turned her head back toward the pool, her ears at the halfway point between standing straight up and laying flat. Rikyn's suggestion made the brindeled mare scoff softly. Could they not threaten one another? Really? "That like ... telling sun not to shine." She responded. It wasn't possible. They were both rude and stubborn, and as Rikyn would put it, assholes.
