In Helovia you were never truly alone, were you? Was that a blessing or a curse? Tilney couldn't figure out if that was terrifying or joyous, but it wasn't long until his isolation was broken. The swoop of manipulated wind under wing was the first to disturb the silence, then the gentle thud of hoof on the sand, the swoosh of sand spray and momentum finding its grave ahead of its host. Curiously the crowned stag watched, unable to cheer a greeting like he normally would do. This black pegasus was reasonably intimidating with her impressive wingspan and hard brow, though he was also much too goddamn angry to say anything to anyone right now. Clearly the lad had changed; he was evolving. The pennons belonging to the winged nightmare came to close on her back it seemed, and she drew nearer and nearer until finally she actually spoke. Finally, someone was willing to break the silence. Tilney shocked himself at his response; never had he been so ungentlemanly in his entire existence. "I was enjoying this pool alone, but not anymore" he had snarled at the black beauty. Her markings were foreign and her eyes captivating; she was alluring to be sure. Why he had been so rude was beyond him, he could not think why. Emotions ruled everything these past weeks it seemed. He had always bee na man of the heart, but of the mind too. He could think out his actions more often then not; today was not one of those days. "But what brings you here my lady?" the doctor then uttered, his eyes not even cast in her general direction. The fact that he hardly cared for her answer was astonishing for him, it was if he was completely out of his mind. These were almost not the words of Tilney but of someone entirely different; a vulgar creature of a base brain it seemed. |
