The creature from the Riptide isles, the one that assembled himself from various creatures and plant matter of the ocean, constructed a bridge of similar materials, and beseeched the inhabitants of Helovia for help in the restoration of the Dead Lands calls out again, this time his voice a little lighter than the grave narrative of his first speech. He calls for fun this time and the old stallion can't help but hope that he means their kind of fun and not his with that jumble of shark and barracuda teeth.
Such an offer usually comes with the promise of magic or companions or baubles, like the shell encrusted crown the creature had gifted a young Pegasus at his first appearance, and a crowd quickly gathers. The old stallion follows, though he stays well back in the throng. The creature of sea salt and sand is making a big show of his friendliness, an obvious desire to rally Helovians behind his word and action driving his enthusiasm, but jaded as an elderly cast off can be, the black only wonders what can be gained and what consequences might an alliance with the mysterious creature bring. He claims to work in the name of the Earth god and who among them could disprove such a claim but the Earth god himself? It all seems too neatly cut for the old man, his emerald eyes gleaming cold and shrewd from the rear of the crowd.
For now he simply watches and lets the more eager test these unknown waters. It's not until the first few claimants of fun and challenge finally speak up that he notices how many of the other faces stand silent and wary around him, mirrors of his own apprehension in various colors. He notices the white faced stallion from the thistle incident among them and gravitates toward his muscular side.
