Patrolling wasn’t really Aly’s forte - she hadn’t really ever done it before. Not in the traditional sense, at least. She made a daily excursion around the Edge, checking up on everyone that lived there (if only from a distance) to make sure that they were all safe and present.


And now, there was a creature that had appeared in Helovia and had mentioned requiring their help. If she stayed in the Edge every day, Aly would certainly hear news of what was happening but just sitting back wasn’t her style. She preferred to be out there, keeping an eye out. As if she, an inconsequential mare, could protect the entire population Helovia from any new threats.


So it was that as she glided (yes! She was actually flying!) above the beach, she spied a familiar looking group of Helovians gathering around a now-familiar face. He was back!


She had arrived a little late, it would seem, and so she landed on the soft sand (stumbling just a little bit) and found a spot at the back of the crowd in time to hear the words the creature was speaking.


Aly was surprised by just how many were willing to jump right in and trust the strange sea-creature that had greeted them on the shores of the Riptide Isles - she was sad to admit that she didn’t actually remember what his name was. But still, her gut cautioned her against joining in - even as she watched some of her friends wade in and disappear beneath the surface of the waves. Shaking her head with a snort, she moved forward and stood beside @Rexanna, reaching to greet her friend with a gentle touch of her muzzle to her shoulder, before turning her green eyes back to the ocean and hoping to see every single one that went down resurface again.
