as we walk in fields of gold

Ever since the appearance of the mysterious and evidently powerful sea creature on the island archipelago, Aisling had kept her eyes and ears open for signs of it's reappearance. At the first gathering she had stayed well back, observing the sea creature and perhaps just as importantly observing the reactions of the citizens of Helovia. The approaches were mixed and myriad, and Aisling leaned more on the optimistic side. Those of the crowd that remained wary of the being had good enough reason to be so, she supposed, given what had transpired last time strange looking horses had appeared in Helovia. But the gods of the rift had been violent hadn't they? Had attacked. Kisamoa appeared to want to help Helovia whatever he meant by that.

The little enchantress was lucky once again to be near when the creature rose from the water, and like the others gathered around to see what might transpire. She hung towards the back of the group, trying to do her duty as an observer more than a participant. She'd taken easily to her duties as Thief when it came to acquiring people and things, but she was keen to hone her talents as a gatherer of information as well. She was supposed to gather information about Helovia and so she watched the Helovians.

Her eyes scanned the crowd, watched the tide push and pull as voice after voice gave credence or warning to the invitation that the water creature issued. Larue spoke to a rather vocal mare and even though Aisling had been relaxing her hold on the girl's mischievous activity, the talk of blowing things up did give the little mare a motherly flutter of panic. She moved toward her daughter, ready to snatch the girl back at the fist sign of explosives and waited with the rest as part of their number disappeared under the water.

From her perch on Aisling's back, little Sorcha (still only the size of a weasel) felt a jolt of excitement as she spotted the for of the bronze dragon a large mare had left upon the sore. Though the little feathered creature knew no mother but Aisling, the recognition of one of her own kind could not be denied. Chirping excitedly, she zipped to the ground, shimmying down Aisling's long braid. Because she had not yet learned to fly, Sorcha scampered through the crowd, weaving through the maze of hooves while Aisling's heart gave a lurch at the thought of the young dragon being trampled and followed. Because the mare could not move through the bodies with as much ease, she called after the dragon through their bond but ht green sprite was too enthralled to heed her. Approaching the bronze dragon, Sorcha slowed and shrunk into a low and deferential crouch, following under the flying Royal. Small trills of delighted greeting hummed in her throat and she positively shook with childish excitement.

Shows up, late as hell to watch :3

@Larue and Shida(indirectly) mentioned, also @Isopia because Sorcha wants to say Hi to Hubris
