I feel lucky, with the worst luck.
The scarred mare was learning just how much she disliked the idea of seaweed being anywhere near her mouth – but as time went on and she found her ability to breathe beneath the chilled waves of Orangemoon. Her muscles were still tight, waiting for the cut off of her oxygen, but as she tried to measure her breaths she kept her mind at the task at hand. Visiting these long lost friends of Helovia for however long it had taken for the water level to get this high. She pressed on, her legs working and swimming as she directed her head toward Kisamoa’s directions. Her glassy gaze didn’t miss the glowing appendage to the sea creature as they continued their descent.

Finally, light began to show on the place that had been so long hidden. It was a place that seemed to be a distant masterpiece – carefully constructed with different hues of varying colors and life as they settled in and out of the coral that helped provide them shelter of some sorts. And when she felt Kisamoa’s voice reach her mind, she couldn’t help but to glance toward the creature in some kind of awe. As he spoke of their words possibly hurting the creature’s ears she just simply stayed silent, ears flickering slowly from the pressure of the water as he tasked them with yet another challenge.

To think of one word, something sweet and beautiful that might instill the creatures with fond memories of the past. Perhaps this was a far more difficult task than the Glazier had expected of it.

Yet, when she opened her eyes slowly and peaked down on the beautiful colors beneath her and the light that the creatures saw if only briefly from Kisamoa’s light, she thought of it. “Eventide." She thought it as loud as she possibly could as she swallowed the urge to speak it. It was probably the most beautiful time of the day in her mind - when the stars would appear and a soft blue blanket would envelop the world, melding with the pink and yellow hues of the day. Surely, that was something the inhabitants here would remember. Surely, it was something that could be pleasantly reminisced.

"Talk."
then I met you—
when i felt messed up
