Aithniel was flat out insulted that this ugly water... thing simply ignored her accusations. Her ears pressed flat against her upper neck, and she narrowed her gaze until the silver of her eyes formed only a tiny slit. She understood that she was not a god herself, and her ego was of a normal size and shape. However, when someone comes flying at you, literally blazing with rage, wouldn't it behoove you to give them some damn attention? Just as she was about to rip into this fool, she watched as her much larger but beautiful cousin approached, willing to test the waters. Aithniel was stunned into silence, wondering if this selfless act was truly selfish or something else... The fire child did not know enough about Isopia to make a true judgment call, but she nodded anyway, willing to agree to this plan. The only crack in her stony, vengeful expression was a small smile she directed at the bronze dragon. Her heart felt for the pretty thing. How must it feel knowing that half of your soul was risking their life? As if hearing this turmoil, Zera flew down onto her back. The white and gold, large griffin nodded regally to the bronze dragon, respecting the bronze's status even though they were of a different species. He screeched in frustration, able to feel his bonded's emotions and that was about when Aithniel heard Volterra speak. She smirked and shrugged. "Someone has to think," she muttered in agreement, though her gaze was stuck on Isopia and her dragon. When the dragon came rushing toward her, she stiffened, preparing to wage war on this son of a bitch. Much to her frustration and relief, everything was 'ok', and she relaxed, nodding to the bronze. "Thank you, Hubris," she said softly and stood back to watch this turn of events unfold from the safety of the shore. standing on pillars of fire |
