City made of thin glass
Smoldering in pitch black

Eleanor was grateful for her cousin's lanky, furry presence and she settled down a little. Family was always a comfort when uncertainty made her afraid. She was shorter than she was due to age, but she would fill out soon enough. Until then, she leaned against him and chuckled, his joke rather funny. Amalrik always knew how to lighten the mood, even in disaster. Though, she would hardly call him a jester type personality. He was still as smart as his father and not one she would want to pick a fight with at all.

"Yeah, I don't want to look like that," she agreed with a chuckle. Everyone swam into the ocean, including the ugly fish god, and they hadn't come up yet. Didn't they need air? Did the seaweed actually work?

Plenty more stayed on the shore, many of them with wings. The beautiful, white mare with two sets of wings who had guarded over them earlier was still standing near the water's edge - perhaps waiting for the two boys to return. Did they belong to her, she wondered? Maybe the light one but not the dark one. Another pegasus - black and white - also stood by watching, and she wondered if they did so out of fear or distrust? Or maybe just lack of interest?

Ellie turned back to Amalrik. "Do you think they'll be okay?" she asked quietly, honestly wanting his opinion on the matter. She sighed and then looked out to the shore, feeling her insides churn from anxiety. "I don't like this. Mom always said the gods are the most powerful and to trust no one else. She said the Sun God is benevolent and just. But maybe... Maybe this new one just wants to share the water?" Ellie thought out loud.

The wind rustled her black and pink mane that was just starting to fall over on its side, and she shoved her solid toes into the sand, grunting. Everything was so serious at this age. Life or death. Black and white. She was worried.
