The goddess was amused by the happenings on the shoreline adjacent to her herd land. She watched a powerful creature of the sea herald most of their citizens into the waters, and she admired the sway he captured over the population. Oh certainly there were a few who resisted this change and staunchly buried their heads and hooves in the sand, but most were willing and eager to help this stranger - perhaps even more so than they would help her or her siblings.

Silly creatures. They simply were too small and narrowed minded to understand what was required to keep and maintain a tenuous balance. There was no dawn without dusk, no smile with a frown, no death without life and no good without bad. The Goddess had shown the simply sheep of this world just what the consequences of their actions were, and since then, she had watched them begin to fall back into the same patterns. She couldn't blame them entirely, not really. Their life spans and memories were so short...

Already there were babes she didn't recognize running about, and the goddess sighed heavily. She supposed if none of the other gods were going to do anything about this stranger, then she would.

Only, her methods were far more fun than theirs.

In a puff of black smoke, she appeared directly in front of this water creature. Her silvery eyes pinned this stranger in his place, the ancient aura she held dancing and glittering in a fog of mystery around her feminine figure. "Well, well, well," she hummed, taking a slow, sensual step forward. "I see you've made the impression. You've done quite a bit of work to our oceans, and I cannot fault you for your help."

A slow smile twisted her features upward - an expression that was beautiful and frightening at the same time. "Wouldn't you say your work would be better viewed directly? Perhaps a little glass could help?" The goddess stopped her hoof, the pressure and fog causing the sand to burst into thousands of little, multi-colored crystals.
