The Elephant King found himself along the Endless Blue once again. His sides heaved slightly from exertion—he had seen the glimmering crystal from atop the World’s Edge’s cliffs (the alcove Rexanna had found for them looked southwest). So, naturally with something occurring so close to their herdlands, and so his ivory hooves had struck out quickly towards the Endless Blue.
Once again, he found the curious blue creature—Kisamoa—but his brows raised to find their own Goddess standing before him. The King would have admired the glittering crystalline sand and her mist-wreathed, sensual form; but there was something in her silver gaze, and the way it ominously (threateningly?) pinned the mutant Kis in place.
A wave of rough, elephantine skin rippled across his hide as his magic made his sudden unease visibly known. Navy eyes glance around those already gathered, expected to find some of his many herd—if only they stood together so that they would be easier to herd, round, and protect.
But, alas, he found them strewn across the gleaming sands: Mesec and his children near the goddess, Erthe approaching the Moon, Sacre standing apart but also watching Vesper, and Nyx’s colt Arakh standing next to another colt.
So the King stood, silent and still in the back, navy eyes sweeping between those of his herd, before he turned back to the Goddess and dipped his greatly horned skull in combination of greeting, respect—but no small amount of wariness thrummed through his hot-blooded, Dorobian veins. Mbwene hovered in his shadow, bright wrinkled gaze bright and watching.
Tembovu stands on the beach, dips his head in greeting to Moony, and warily looks between all the Edgers present.
