Rexanna

That day, the siren decided to let Kiada lead while they searched for Kianzo. Marembo sat among her withers much like Khairi did most of the time for her daughter, helping the best he could in search for their prince. Of course, when a gathering began, Rexanna always grew slightly weary. She worried one of these events would turn into a similar one from the Rift wars. The last thing she wanted was disease spreading among the family she had left. At least this time Tembovu couldn’t shame her for not being a part of the Edge – apparently a cure to the horrible black sludge she remembered messing with her senses.

A soft sigh passed through her lips as she trudged after her daughter. The filly’s voice rang in the air, letting her know that she was going to go see Ru’in. Offering the child a smile and a nod, she began to scan the area as well – doing her best to try and forget the horrible encounter she had with Hotaru over her leave from her first home in Helovia. When she scanned the area, she spotted Tembovu standing beside the grey mare that he had protected during the Rift wars. She remembered how he told her he wasn’t sure if he was the father to her children – and immediately a bit of jealousy sparked in her chest. Her gaze narrowed slightly, but she continued to watch for a few seconds as she spoke to the Elephant King.

Immediately, as Marembo’s blue gaze landed on Mbwene, he hopped off of Rexanna’s back and began to the elephant, squeaking the whole way in his tiny bursts of excitement and happiness. Rexanna began to follow the small polecat who seemed to have a more careless attitude than his bonded – but he assured her not to worry (despite not being around for that event). Still, she obliged her companion and came to stand on Tembovu’s other side, smiling to him gently and pressing her muzzle into the side of his neck before murmuring a soft hello, and looking to Nyx afterwards with the same smile. “Hello.” She added, her memory faulting her on the mare’s name. All she could remember was the frustration that laced her mind as Tembovu spoke of this woman. So she did her best to keep her attention on the Goddess, Kisamoa, and her daughter to refrain from straight out glaring at Nyx.
