Persephone As hesitant as the sunset mare is to wander far from home, she cannot help but adore the beauty of Helovia. It calls to her from behind the Falls, coaxes her from the safety of her home, coerces her into the open. She cannot say that she minds, particularly now that she has Alecto to accompany her. Indeed, the mischievous kitsune is often the reason for Persephone’s exploration, for she delights in adventure and attention. The fox’s recent escapades have gained the mare new friends, so when the creature darts off into the brush and barks something that sounds very much like a command, her bonded merely shakes her head, smiles, and follows. The pair travels for what seems like hours, pausing here and there to explore anything particularly intriguing. The world surrounding them is almost eerily quiet, devoid of much of the hustle-and-bustle that Persephone has come to expect in Helovia. Normally, it seems that she can’t go anywhere without running into someone new. Today, though… today she sees no one and nothing until they arrive, exhausted, at the Endless Blue. Down the beach, a crowd is gathering. Recognizing Kisamoa, the mare shrugs and follows her already bounding kitsune toward the commotion. As she takes a place somewhere near the Falls Storyteller, one of the few faces that she recognizes in the crowd, the mare realizes that this time, Kisamoa isn’t alone. A purple-colored mare, an oddity even in these strange lands, stands near him. The mare stomps a hoof and the sand turns to glass beneath their hooves, causing Persephone to jump. Even Alecto cowers in his bonded’s shadow. The sunset mare is uneasy, and waits on tensed muscles for whatever may come next. "Speech." OOC ;; Stands somewhat near Syrena, but doesn't interact.
