The Songbird had always been wary, a bit apprehensive, of the Blood Falls. She’d been part of too many events ending with destruction, mayhem, and injustice to not glance around with unease. Her eyes surveyed the surroundings with a staunch, stalwart serenity, gazing over the looming crowd, the boisterous din, and the bright, starry-eyed wonder of various children. The moment seemed similar to the grand Giving Turtle that bestowed them with trinkets and delights during Frostfall. So she and Imogen slipped along, tentative, slow, staring at the tiny, horned ram settled upon his boulder: offering them a choice. A trick or a treat? The ivory kitsune waving her tails at her feet chirped, appearing completely at ease with the entire scenario, and Lena could only arch a brow for a moment, baffled and bewildered, before presenting her own mellifluous voice into the crowd. “Treat, please. Thank you.” She bobbed her head politely, still regal and refined, despite the nerves humming through her veins. [Lena picks treat!] |
