It wasn't uncommon to meet some strange or unsocial folk in the threshold. It was, of course, the threshold. When the Doctor heard foul language on the air, the kind he'd only heard dripping from someone like Mauja or the Sparklight, he was reasonably shocked. When there was swearing there was usually venom and anger, and so the flaxen brute rushed to investigate. Antlers and their tines at the ready to defend himself and any individuals that might need defending, the flaxen physician slinked between the tree trunks. "Aiya!" he chanted skywards, watching as his lantern lit with a homely glow. He would approach as he did anyone, open and friendly but confident. Sacre was there, the blood-splashed nurse. He was glad to see him unharmed, though his eyes gave a quick glance over the others present. The voice could only have come from the maneless man who stood shorter than the other males present, sharp horn seeming even sharper than most. Tilney stood beside his friend Sacre, and sent a caring glance to the splashed mare. He hoped it wasn't her this man had barked at. The chestnut man stood tall and looked over the newcomer, green eyes bright and true. "Good Afternoon traveller" how else do you speak to someone so vulgar anyway? "Is there a problem? I heard some rather harsh language from over this way, I hope that wasn't you Sacre" Tilney looked to the Red-ticked man, though he knew well that he was not the culprit as he knew the nurses voice reasonably well by now. Lantern aglow and crooning over the group, the physician hoped that whatever issue there was it could be easily resolved. |
