Hi guys!

I'm having some trouble with this character I've been working on. Unusually enough I have a very detailed and fleshed out personality concept but when it comes to looks, all I've managed to narrow down is conformation. Race, color and markings are continuing to elude me, nothing feels right so I'm going to ask you all for help!

I have a rough lineart here of the build; http://sta.sh/025qir2ockuc I'll be very happy if you use it but ofc you're free to use whatever lineart you want. :D

Name: Raho
Gender: Stallion
Personality pointers: Serene, patient, quiet, stagnate, laconic, lethargic, disinterested, hungry, greedy, laid back, amoral, unscrupulous, cruel.

Basically, what I'm looking for is a 'deceptively normal' appearance. With that, I mean a design that is based on natural colors and patterns.

No metallics or vivid colors,
nothing that couldn't hypothetically appear on any living horse.
Exaggerating a pattern is fine,
exaggerating a color for clarification is fine,
eye color you can go crazy with.
Mutations are fine if used in moderation, ie no trees growing from the butt but
minimal feathers and scales are nice :D

Hybrids
Minimalism (wouldn't think so looking at this list)
Braids

THINGS I LIKE

White's and black's
Dun markings
Solid colors
Toveros
Appaloosas
Silver dapples

Feminine looking dudes
Accessories

THINGS I DON'T ENJOY

Many clashing colors (four is the upper limit)
Overly busy designs
Tribal or 'tattoo' markings
Skull face (it's gorgeous but there are so many already)
