One of the corners of Aly’s mouth twitched into a grin at Iona’s words and her eyes, so similar to that of her twins, also followed the trio of flames that came into view. They were foxes! But Alysanne’s fascination with how beautiful they were promptly ended as soon as they started talking in the most outlandish manner that she had ever heard. She honestly was having the hardest time understanding what they were saying, but it was pretty easy to get what they meant.
To get the orb and the magic that it contained, they needed to help channel the flock of turkeys.
She returned Iona’s gaze and gave a graceful shrug of her wings as her eyes brightened with a wild smile. This was ridiculous, she knew, but it also sounded like a great deal of fun.
Aly laughed at her twin’s flat tone before Iona took off. Although she was getting better with the whole “flying” thing, Aly didn’t trust her skills enough to battle this turkey storm from the skies. So instead, she unfurled her wings and moved forward towards the flock - angling herself so that she was a deterrent for any that wished to go in any other direction than south, which seemed to be where the fire foxes wanted the turkeys to go. Just why south and why they had so many turkeys in their possession were questions she wished to ask but she doubted very much that anyone was going to hear her over the squabbling mass.
Gently moving her wings forward and back, she ushered the turkeys onward and kept an eye out for any that might go stray nearby.
