Perhaps she could do this forever; wander and wander and wander until she finds some sort of clue to how it all happened. Some have answers for her, others empathy, and still more must look at her with indifference, for what is a lost, wallowing foreigner to them? Being there or not being there will make no difference on their lives. Yael has not walked into a kingdom that is dusty and dry from disuse - ripe for the picking and eager for any help she can give. She had nothing to lose then. Now, she must find out how to recover from losing it all. It’s harder to climb back up the ladder when you’ve seen what’s at the top, and are now sitting with a bruised and broken ass in a heap at the bottom.

Meeting Isopia had been… informative, if nothing else. To be honest, she’s still trying to wrap her head around it all when wandering, directionless hooves bring her to a snow-covered, pillared structure. The petite golden pegasus stops to take a closer look, curiosity easily overpowering any sense of reverence or caution. It is most likely a false sense of security, but it would take something dangerous and seriously bad for Yael to change the way she is exploring Helovia. Leaving delicate imprints behind her, she quietly approaches the pillars, drawing up close to examine the curtains and colored splashes that fill the circle. It seems odd and out of place to her (she, who has seen a glass dragon and metal gate, who knows nothing of Helovia’s crafts or its peoples’ skills, finds it odd). Several times, Yael circles the structure in silence, taking in all that she can and delighting in the antique details.

Her studiousness is far more out of place than she knows.
