CAPRO was quite happy today. Firstly, his now one-month-old hair was now luxuriously fluffy which meant that his bonded allowed him longer play times. Secondly, because he had longer play times he'd been allowed to accompany his bonded on her adventure today. Everything was always shiny to the young kid but today seemed exceptionally bright and happy. His tiny hooves skittered across the shallow spots of snow and boinged over the spots where it became too deep for him. The birds, the trees, the very essence of the day brought joy to his blooming soul. So great was his joy that it even rippled over their connection to Eldala. Speaking of first experiences, Capro was about to have yet another: The Giving Turtle. The snow white kid saw it before the mare, who was rooting about in the snow for useful food and weaving supplies. Tinkles of excitement spiked through her like rushing glacier water causing her head to shoot up into a branch. "Ow!" came her exclamation. Her blue eyes cast about the general area for the source of Capro's sudden extra emotion. Surprise, among a mixture of other emotions, registers on the mare's face in quick sucession. Last year, mere days after entering Helovia, the mare had been present for the beautiful old Turtle's gifts. It had been such a warm event but she'd only seen it through the filter of someone new and, even then, only with Ivezho to explain things to her. This year there was no romance and not many friends to speak of, but she had a home, a position, an eternal companion, and, of course, her brother. It had been a year of struggle, of trials and failures, but also one of magnificence and beauty and growth.

A smile spreads through her face as the ethereal being requests a decoration this year. She knew precisely what she was going to put up there for her contribution. Capro stays and waits for her while she trots off in search of the small berries she'd seen everywhere since she'd met Tangere in the Threshold. Once found, she returns and waits until there is a spot to place her ornament: A bundle of Coldtongue berries. The symbol of her new beginning and of her continued growth. She nods warmly to the handsome old turtle before stepping back to nod at her brother. "Its quite alright, this happens every year around this time. The turtle is a kind old soul and this gathering is one of great joy. Many gifts are given out. Some get items and others even get magic! Go and place something, Arion, but don't take too long pondering the significance or whatever else it is you do." She teases him with all the sibling sarcasm she can muster. Which, ok, is quite a bit. Capro, for his part, dances happily about. He runs near others and, if their companions are friendly, takes the time to stop and sniff their noses before running off for more fun.
