In the crowd, she spotted Mauja, Lyanna, Lena, and others from the Edge as well - a warm smile touching her face as her green eyes lingered on those she knew. She didn’t approach any of them, though, the moment feeling oddly personal and she did not want to invade any of their thoughts or spaces. So she moved on her own, approaching the tree cautiously - eyeing the wonderful gifts that the citizens of Helovia had given. There were many things she carried with her that were close to her heart - a trio of feathers tied into her hair, the amethyst and glass halter and necklace she wore - but she would give this tree the first gift she had ever been given in Helovia.
It only seemed right.
Hemlock helped her carefully remove the glass headpiece from her brow, the small chain and heart making a light twinkling noise as it moved, and he brought it to the tree - draping it carefully over a bough high up where he could retrieve it again, out of reach of any pesky ground-dweller that might want to snatch it up.
Alysanne’s green eyes drifted upwards to look at the glass headband, her heart warm and sad as she thought of Kahlua - wishing her dear friend was with her today.
